Hello everyone!  It's great fun to see the wonderful and varied things that our class has been up to, and I'm hoping very much that I'll be able to see you at the reunion.  (A huge thanks to James D and his co-conspirators for organizing all of this!)

I lead a happy and busy life in my current home of Ann Arbor, Michigan, where I teach and conduct research in the field of Statistics, here at the local university.  My research covers theoretical, methodological and applied topics; my recent applied projects involve assessing effectiveness of educational programs and of get-out-the-vote drives, if that helps to place me.  My wife, whom I met while a graduate student at Berkeley in the 90s, is also a professor, of Women's Studies and Political Science.  To our six-month old son, this professorial lineage has yet to be anything but a burden: the poor fella's head size is in the 99th percentile, while his weight is only in the 30th, and he can barely hold the dang thing up.  (When he does, though, he generally smiles, winning over most of the adults who cross his path.)

20 Bleedin' Years???!!!!  I can't believe it's been that long, but thinking about it, I guess a lot has happened.  I don't think I've changed much, other than getting older and wider ... I mean 'wiser' ;-)

Ain't life a trip!  Can't believe this is on us so fast--I feel like I'm still 15.
After high school I hung out a bit and finally went back to school--got my BA in LA and MBA in Phoenix.  Since then I've been doing finance (which is kind of funny cause I couldn't add in high school).  My wife and I are living in Oakland with our two daughters, ages 13 (going to high school next year--yikes!) and 9.   Just living life, making sure I enjoy the ride.  I'm looking forward to seeing you all in August.
