After high school I went to SDSU, then graduated from Cal State Northridge in '93 and practiced physical therapy at Herrick. In 1989 I had a bad car accident (went face first through the windshield which disfigured my face). But ten surgeries later (during summer and christmas vacations from college) they put me back together like the bionic woman! Left the health field and entered the Music Business which I have loved for the last ten years. I wear several hats these days in the Biz:Director of the Nat'l Assoc of Record Industry Professionals (NARIP), own a Artist Management company called Strive Management, and teach Artist Management and Music Marketing at SFSU. Marrried the love of my life, a fellow music business professional and reside in the Bay!

OK Fine, I will write my obit...err, life story. 

graduated BHS, bla bla bla, went to 3 or 4 junior colleges, transferred to UCSC, bla bla bla, graduated on academic probation (I didn't even know it was possible) with a Theater Arts degree, took over for Jimmy Smits on NYPD Blue for a couple seasons, and, oh wait no that was Ricky Schroeder, but I looked a lot like him at the time, so I pretended to be him to pick up chicks.

In 2001 got a (GASP!) real job in the IT world and (re)met the woman of my dreams. somehow in 2002 I was able to convince her to marry me, got married in 2003, and we started having kids in 2004.

They are the best (see pics) girls ever.  Czar 3.5 years and Pharaoh 14 months rule our house with an iron fist especially right now as Pharaoh is teething again and they seem to come in 4 at a time with that girl.

Not going ot make the party at the track, but will try to get Vanavia (aformentioned hottie) to accompany me to the bar and/or the picnic!

PS. John L. as you know I too have suffered from the lost hair, gained glasses problems, but I was smart enough not to include a picture of myself.  (did I mention how cute my girls are?)

PPS. Ted, the best nickname was, is, and always will be "Welfare Willie" not that I bitter or anything, but I have claimed the name in order to empower myself.....(a small piece of me dies everytime I say it)  LOL

Yeah!!  It's all starting to come back to me now.  We we're all blessed to grow up in Berkeley.  Since then, I Graduated from UCSC and I'm still in Santa Cruz with my wife, LeAndra (met at UCSC) and three kids.  My beautiful daughter, Sahara 15, strong older son Dakotah 13, and crazy young son Elijah 9.  After managing the local Budget car and truck rental office here in Santa Cruz for over ten years I opened my own truck rental business.  We have a small fleet of trucks and we're doing well.  I ride my bike to work and kick my feet up at any opportunity.  See you all there!

So, while most of you are anxiously anticipating coming back to BHS... I've never left!!  I've been teaching Spanish and ELL at BHS for the last 14 years.  I love my job (most of the time) and it's been wild to see how much has changed and how much has stayed the same.  It's not exactly accurate to say I never left... I managed to live abroad, get a masters, work on a never to be finished PhD and do my share of world travel (aah the benefits of a teacher's summer!).  Now, I'm living in Albany with my daughter, husband and baby boy on the way... I'm due in August - and I already look like a potato (I didn't include that photo!) - so I probably won't make it to the reunion, but look forward to hearing from those who do!!

Wow! where did the time go? After high school I had no idea what my next move was going to be, so I partied hard until I figured it out. In the late 90's I traveled to Argentina and taught ESL classes. I enjoyed it so much that I stayed for 3 years. In 2000 I was swept away by the dot com industry and fell in love with a company called Webvan and like many of the dot com companies they ,too, fell victim to the madness of the dot com crash. I am currently working for Staples. Well class of 88 take care be well and hope to see you at the next one.
